A hairy hominid living in a remote wilderness area. Nearly every culture on Earth has its own version of fabulous primate. The most famous being Bigfoot and the Yeti which are similar to each other yet not typical of all hairy hominids as they range from small to gigantic, gentle to savage, some are bipedal, some are quadrupedal, some are both, and some can even speak.

The only thing common to their environment is that it is always remote (except for the chuman), they have been sighted in forests, sparsely wooded areas, mountains, snow fields, jungles, swamps, and semi-desert regions.

There are only three characteristics common to all: they seem at least a little bit human, they are seen as supernatural, and they are hairy.

These beings may be living neanderthals, aliens, hybrids created by aliens, or the missing link.
