Wyrm
A serpent-like dragon similar to the guivre, but larger.
The wyrm can be killed by separating its head from its body. The head should be buried several hundred feet away from the body because they may rejoin. Also be careful of the breath which may be poisonous.
Found on land, underground, in swamps, and in or near the sea.
A true wyrm is legless, armless, and wingless but "wyrm" can be used to refer to any serpent or dragon that is especially large or old.
Also known as worm, vurm, wurm, orm, ormr, and waurm.
